A “secret yet” is a short phrase or riddle involving a pun, in which the punning word has been replaced by a synonym (and is therefore no longer a pun).
Since a friend of mine made this joke into a secret yet years ago I’ve been unable to tell it correctly:
A pirate walks into a bar.
The bartender says, “Hey, there’s a steering wheel sticking out of your pants.”
The pirate says, “Yarr! It’s steerin’ me balls!”
